Mieke Willems is the project of Mieke Verbijlen and Veronik Willems, which they started after graduating with their Masters in Fine Arts in Belgium. They run a blog where they share their daily findings of pretty things that surround them. This could be art exhibitions, illustrators, books, plants, things they found at a flea market - or just a Sunday morning breakfast by the windowsill. I follow many blogs on my rss reader, but Mieke Willems is one of my favorites. Their posts are light, creative, fresh - and above all - so very charming. They owned the nicest blue shop in Antwerp, Belgium which had to close unfortunately. Along with that they had a static html website - created by Rienk - which I transformed into a dynamic Drupal website with an online store. The store became very popular with customers all over the world. Right now, the online store is offering the last few items from their shop. I, along with their large fan base, hope they will reveal a new project very soon.
